How to find the cause
If you have more than one iOS device and at least two Lightning cables, you should be able to figure out what’s causing the issue.
1. Defective iOS device
Get the lint out of the iPhone’s charging port. First, change the device. For example, if you tried to connect your iPhone and experience the connection and disconnection problem, take your iPad or another iPhone and connect it. If the problem persists, it means that the problem is not related to the iOS device, and you can move it to Turn it on and try another Lightning cable to see if the connector is faulty.
